Welcome to the home of
I can support you to reconnect with your inner bravery by learning how to overcome stress, anxiety and overwhelm, so you can start living the life you love.
Are you ready to begin your journey?
I have spent my adult life supporting people who are facing challenges of all diversity in their lives: anxiety, marriage breakdown, suicidal intent; gender identity and sexual orientation issues; addiction and bereavement are just some of the many challenges that I have helped people with.
I have a BSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy; a Diploma in Crisis Intervention and Family Support; a Certificate in Addiction Studies and a Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills. I am a fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
I feel privileged to have obtained a very diverse experience as a psychotherapist. I have worked in Pieta House for over 2 years, supporting people with suicidal intent or engaging in self harm. In the years prior, I worked with prisoners and their families in the Bedford Row Family Project. I also worked for a further two years in the University of Limerick as a therapist in the Student Counselling Centre.
I am very passionate about mental health, and in particular with young people in Ireland. Because of my passion and interest in current developments in this area, I am a regular contributor on mental health issues online, in traditional press and on radio. Alongside these regular contributions I write a weekly column for the Limerick Post newspaper on various mental health issues.
